This year GATE 2013
exam is already running successfully today i.e 10th Feb, 2013 at
various locations in the country. More than 12 lakh aspirants
participated in the exam to secure their seats in prestigious IITs
and IISc. of the country. GATE score will
be applicable for admission to Engineering, Technology,
Architecture as well as Doctoral programmes in various IITs of the
country. The exam is jointly conducted by Indian Institute of
Sciences and seven Indian Institutes of Technology. This year
Indian Institute of Technology Madras conducted GATE 2013 at all-India level.
As per GATE 2013 analysis, the exam consisted of single paper of 3 hours duration. There were total 65 questions asked in the exam. The questions in paper were multiple choice types except for two papers: AE and TF which had both multiple choice questions and numerical answer type. GATE paper also have negative marking for each wrong answer 1/3 mark will be deducted. So 2013 GATE key is to mark Gate 2013 answer to questions which you are sure about. Students should avoid random guess in the paper. There was one General Aptitude component in the paper which carried the weightage of 15 marks.

Students will be able to view the details of the contents of GATE Score Card on the official website. However, no additional GATE Scorecards will be issued.
GATE 2013 online The results for GATE 2013 will be declared on March 15, 2013 at 10:00 hrs at offices of IISc (Indian Institute of Sciences) and seven IITs (Indian Institute of Technology). GATE 2013 results will also be available on the official website. GATE score is valid for two years from the date of declaration of the GATE 2013 results.
