As parent, I wish to share horrible experience in Manipal Institute of Technology. It spoils the career of its student. The average marks are very low, teachers quality not good and they have sadist attitude. Low marks will ensure that most of the students are not able to build their career for further studies and are not eligible for capus recruitment. Students are demoralised. They want students to score very less and possibly want to earn money thru more repeats. Not recommended.

IIT Ahmedabad is certainly among first 50 of India , though it has been started recently. And yes, better than some of the Institutes named above. I feel this list needs to be revised . It seems to have been prepared much earlier.
Do you mean IIT- Gandhinagar? IIT Gandhinagar (IITGn) is one among the new IITs started from the academic year 2008-09. It is located at Chandkheda, about 15 minutes drive from both Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. For more info on IIT-G , click here
